Forest Type

This map was created with datasets from both The Nature Conservancy and The USDA Forest Service – Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) Program & Remote Sensing Applications Center (RSAC). Detailed citation information is available below the map.

This map will help determination the dominant tree types as well as some other flora communities for your area. These boundaries are approximations and should not be used for exact forest location. Instead they provide a general understanding of local flora communities in New Jersey.
